| Amongst the major works Chris has recently conducted are Handel's 'Dixit Dominus', Mozart's 'Coronation Mass' and Will Todd's 'Mass in Blue'. This last work was perfomed with a spectacular lighting show and in the big band arrangement. In previous years he has conducted a wide range of choral and orchestral works, including Beethoven's famous 5th symphony, Tchaikovsky's 'Romeo and Juliet' Overture, and Handel's 'Messiah'. He also enjoys directing musical theatre, lately having directed Sondheim's 'Into the Woods'. He will direct 'Guys and Dolls' in 2010.
Singing with Sarum Voices, Chris has perfomed on numerous recent occasions. The choir sang at the opening concert of the Southern Cathedrals Festival, performing Will Todd's 'Mass in Blue' and two Bach Motets. Other choirs Chris has sung with include Voces Petrensium, a choir of former Peterhouse members, and Voces Raptorum.
Chris is co-director of the Avon Valley youth choir. Their next concert will feature Vivaldi's 'Gloria' for which Chris will play the organ.
